Madeira & Indian
Hill Joint Fire District is a combination department covering
the 24 square miles that constitute the jurisdictions of
the City of Madeira and the Village of Indian Hill, Ohio.
We operate from 2 stations, both are manned twenty-fours
hours each day.
Resident Population
The resident
population of the area is 14,830 persons, according to
the 2000 US census.
Staffing Notes
Our staffing is a combination of career
members and part-time members for on-station staffing.
Funding
Our funding comes from a 50% split of the approved
annual budget paid by the two member jurisdictions from
their general operating revenues.

Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of the Madeira & Indian Hill Joint Fire District meets every other month at the Indian Hill Fire Station. The meetings are open to the public and are handicap accessible.
Most meetings are held on the second Monday of the month. The Annual Meeting takes place on the second Wednesday in March.
